I would actually eat my own pants if someone managed to do a LaFerrari vs P1 comparison test, even if getting one of each car at the same time is close to fucking impossible.

Top Gear is planning a three way comparo later this year. Including lap times.

I fear it's going to devolve into 'it's actually a responsive and good driver's car why isn't it trying to kill me" BS rant all the hosts go on. Honestly I haven't watched Top Gear in forever, mainly because the new series haven't been as good and I've gotten sick of their tropes (especially Clarkson saying proper drivers cars are boring and their total shit treatment of American cars in power tests).

They basically raved about the P1 and the 918, so no, I don't think that will happen.

I know but they do sometimes pull that card on cars they've already reviewed and liked.

Enjoyed the Autocar more than the Evo review actually. So much more information.

Well, there's an interesting scenario. The Porsche is the most brutish and least refined of the bunch, the Ferrari is the fine-tuned precision instrument, and McLaren...well, McLaren is still McLaren.

"What do you say, is this the new ultimate hypercar or what?"
"Fix the windscreen wiper..."

So is it just me or did both those reviews just say the exact same thing? Oh, they got the brake feel just right? And it feels like a 458 eh? And it feels "friendly" does it? At some point it begins to sound like repeating bullet point items from a sheet of paper handed out (by Ferrari) right before the "review." Very glad to see some quality footage of this car, but equally eager to get a real opinion.
